Jimmy Hayes netted his 11th goal of the season as he and the hapless Panthers dropped a 3-2 decision to the visiting Columbus Blue Jackets Saturday night. Florida's other goal scorer was Vincent Trochek, his fifth of the season. It was the final game of the season for the Panthers, who have failed to qualify for the post-season in 12 of their past 13 campaigns.
