Jimmy Hayes made it to Minnesota in time for Friday night's game but was a healthy scratch. Hayes was the key piece in a trade involving the Panthers and Blackhawks early Friday morning and arrived in time to play with nis new teammates against the Wild. The coaching staff however, felt it was best for Hayes to sit the game out. There is now word on whether Hayes will suit up in Colorado Saturday night. Our feeling is, he will. That said, we have not been impressed with Hayes in his limited time with the Hawks. Perhaps that will change if he gets more meaningful itce time in Florida.
