Jeff Petry has agreed to a one-year, $3.1 million contract for the 2014-15 campaign. Petry is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent next summer, so he will be the subject of trade rumors if the Oilers once again struggle to make the playoffs. He had 17 points and 42 penalty minutes in 80 games last season.
