Jean-Sebastien Giguere will play between the pipes on Thursday. Semyon Varlamov allowed three goals on 16 shots on Tuesday before Giguere replaced him. Giguere turned aside 12 of 13 shots in the losing effort. Varlamov got off to a good start this season, but he now has a 4.29 GAA and .842 save percentage in four games. Although we don't expect Giguere to steal the starting job, he has been a superb backup so far this season.
