Jean-Sebastien Giguere has returned to the Colorado Avalanche after spending time with his terminally ill mother. "She stopped eating," Giguere said of his mother. "She stopped taking her meds and stuff like that. So we're just in the final stage of her - she has Alzheimer's - so she's in the final stage of the disease. So it's probably good." Giguere's father passed away in 2008 after a battle with cancer.
