Jean-Sebastien Giguere blocked 30 shots in the Avalanche's 5-2 win over the Islanders on Saturday night. Giguere gave up both of the goals in the third period, almost seeing what was a 3-2 lead disappear. He's been a solid backup for the Avs this season, but he will be lucky to get a handful of starts down the stretch with the Avs in the playoff race. He has a 2.47 goals-against average and .917 save percentage this season.
