Jean-Sebastien Giguere allowed three goals on 17 shots in Colorado's 4-1 loss to the Sharks Sunday night. Starting his third consecutive game in place of Semyon Varlamov, Giguere was not at his sharpest in this game and despite the low shot total allowed by Colorado they were unable to come away with a victory. Although he has outplayed the Avs' starter recently, Giguere is unlikely to unseat Varlamov over the long-term.
