Jean-Gabriel Pageau will participate in Ottawa's rookie camp. He recorded four points in nine regular-season games with the Ottawa Senators last season and he generated six points in 10 playoff contests. Despite his brief NHL experience, he doesn't view his involvement in the rookie showcase as a negative. "I think it's just good preparation for the big camp," Pageau said. "I'm still a rookie, so I'll go there and give everything I've got."
