Jean-Gabriel Pageau has been switched from an emergency to regular recall. The Ottawa Senators originally made him an emergency recall because they had the option to do so with Jason Spezza hurt. After the deadline, teams are given a limited number of regular callups, but now that Spezza is ready to return, Ottawa was forced to make a choice between sending Pageau to the minors or burning their final promotion on him.
