Jason Spezza will not play Monday night against the Capitals as he is dealing with an alleged minor hip injury. The Senators don't want this to develop into a serious injury so they are being cautious with Spezza and are keeping him out of lineup for a second consecutive game. The good news is that the injury does not appear to be a long-term one. In fact, Sens' coach Paul MacLean is hopeful Spezza will be able to play Thursday against the Jets.
