Jason Spezza is focused more on winning and playing two-way hockey than he is with scoring points. He has spoken with coach Paul MacLean about being more responsible defensively, but that doesn't mean that his production will suffer. "I find a way to get points," said Spezza. "I've got to be good on the power play. I've always found a way to get points. It's one thing to talk about, as your career goes on, points not being as important. It's the reality now for me. I'm trying to work on other other parts of my game." The Ottawa captain has earned eight goals and 16 points in 16 games this season despite playing with several different linemates.
