Jason Spezza did not play in Tuesday's loss to New Jersey because of the flu. Kyle Turris lined up between Milan Michalek and Daniel Alfredsson, as coach Paul MacLean was forced to shake up his combinations. Spezza took part in the team's optional morning skate, but his 600th career game had to be put on hold. The Senators return to action on Friday in Montreal and depending on the nature of his illness, the Ottawa center should be ready by then.
