Jason LaBarbera was saddled with the loss against the Washington Capitals Monday night. Mike Smith got the night off Monday. Babs will get his starts this season, but unless he does something special in those games, he'll be riding the bench this year. Smith has been stunning so far this season and has solidified his position as the team's number one goaltender.
