Jason LaBarbera has been called up by Chicago. He will serve as Antti Raanta's backup while Chicago waits for Corey Crawford and Nikolai Khabibulin recover from injuries. LaBarbera was acquired from Edmonton nearly a week ago to give the Hawks some extra experience between the pipes.
