Jason LaBarbera, filling in for the injured Mike Smith, had a solid outing in the Phoenix Coyotes' 4-3 victory over the Hurricanes in Carolina Wednesday night. LaBarbera turned away 34 of the Canes' 37 shots. He played in this one because first-string goalie Mike Smith injured his lower body in a game Tuesday night.
