Jason Garrison scored his 13th goal of the season, his eight on the power play, in the Panthers 3-1 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks. The undrafted free agent had only showed one season of offensive potential, his rookie season in the AHL where he scored 8 goals and 35 points, but other that he hasn't been a factor offensively in any league. Now all of a sudden he's the top goal scoring defenseman, and is on pace for 21 goals. Unfortunately he doesn't rack up many assists, but his goal output is welcomed, so keep rolling him out there.
