Jason Garrison has been one of this season's made pleasant surprises. Garrison established himself with the Panthers last season as a solid defender who could chip in a bit offensively, but he's taken things to the next level in 2011-12 with 10 goals and 16 points in 36 games. That's just two points shy of the total he established in 2010-11 over the course of 73 contests. Garrison currently leads all blueliners in goals and could conceivably reach the 20-goal mark this season. That feat has only been reached by one other blueliner, Dustin Byfuglien, over the course of the previous two campaigns.
