Jaromir Jagr's game-winning goal against the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday was historic. It was the 693rd goal of Jagr's career, which moved him into sole possession of eighth place in the NHL's all-time goal list. He surpassed Steve Yzerman as a result and is just one goal shy of tying Mark Messier. Jagr also broke the NHL record for career game-winning goals with 122. He had been tied with Gordie Howe. "That's an unbelievable feat, especially with the names on the list he's around and passing," Devils coach Pete DeBoer said. "That's an unbelievable accomplishment."
