Jaromir Jagr was angry after the Devils' 3-2 overtime loss to Philadelphia. The Devils got off to an early 1-0 lead and held it until the third period. "I don't think they were ready from the first minute, and we didn't take advantage of that," Jagr said. "And it happened to us against Columbus a few weeks ago and other games, too, and when you have those points that might be the difference between playoffs and not playoffs. But we don't learn. We keep doing the same mistakes over and over and over." The Devils are directly competing with the Flyers for a playoff spot, so obviously this loss hurts more than most. As it is, New Jersey is three points shy of a postseason berth.
