Jaromir Jagr scored 90 seconds into the game to become the eighth player in NHL history to reach 1,700 career points en route to the New Jersey Devils' 5-0 shutout win over the visiting Nashville Predators Sunday night. Jagr, who also had an assist, boosted his career totals to 686 goals and 1,015 assists, to put him at 1,701. Jagr has five goals this season. Former Pittsburgh Penguins teammate Mario Lemieux is seventh in history with 1,723 points - 690 goals and 1,033 assists. Mark Zidlicky also had a goal (his second of the season and an assist (ninth) for the Devils last night. Other New Jersey scorers were Cam Janssen (second), Travis Zajac (second) and Mattias Tedenby (first).
