Jaromir Jagr isn't surprised that he's still able to compete in the NHL as he approaches his 42nd birthday. Jagr will turn 42 on Feb. 15. He has 13 goals and 34 points in 40 games this season. "I just remember my father's words when I was young," Jagr said. "He said, 'If you're going to be like me, you're going to be the strongest around 40.' That's what he always said. He said he was the strongest between 40 and 50. So, maybe he was right." Jagr has expressed a desire to play in the NHL past this season and he'll probably get that chance.
