Jaromir Jagr became the seventh player in NHL history to reach 700 goals on Saturday afternoon in a 6-1 win over the Islanders. He scored early in the second period to give the Devils a 2-0 lead at the time. Jagr also added an assist in the contest to give him 1,040 points in 1,452 career matches. Adam Henrique, Ryane Clowe, Eric Gelinas and Marek Zidlicky scored power-play goals for New Jersey in the victory. The Devils went 4-for-8 with the man advantage against the Isles. Henrique, Clowe, Gelinas and Zidlicky added an assist each in the win, while Patrik Elias contributed two of his own.
