Jamie Benn pointed to the Dallas Stars' 17 giveaways as one of the key reasons they suffered a 5-1 loss to Detroit on Saturday. "That's a tough one to lose," Benn said. "Those [giveaway] stats are pretty accurate. You can't do that against a team like that. You turn the puck over against them, and they'll make you pay. That's what happened tonight." Giveaways have been a recurring problem for Dallas this season. They currently have the fifth highest total in the league with 417 giveaways in 41 games this season.
