James Reimer was solid in Team Canada's 6-1 win over Italy at the IIHF World Hockey Championships in Belarus Friday. Reimer certainly earned some praise from Team Canada coach Dave Tippett, who stated the obvious, "Reimer played very well". Reimer may need a fresh start to his NHL career after a very inconsistent season in Toronto behind starter Jonathan Bernier. We woudn't be surprised if he were traded by or before the start of the June amateur entry draft provided Bernier responds well from off-season sports hernia surgery.
