James Reimer is cementing himself as the Leafs' number one goalie. Reimer made 23 saves in the 3-2 win Thursday night, and he's started seven games now. With a 2.61 goals-against average and .920 save percentage, he may not be stealing games, but he's solidifying the goaltending woes. Reimer dealt with a concussion and neck injury last year, and a return to good health seems to be a big reason why he's having success. "I don't want to make excuses," said Reimer. "I don't like when people come out after (a tough period) and say 'Oh this was bothering me.' It seems like it's just an easy way out. "The injury affected me and now, being healthy, it feels good to be out there and doing the most that your body allows you to."
