Jakub Voracek's deflection on a Marek Zidlicky shot from the point turned out to be the winner as the Czech Republic downed Latvia 4-2 Friday. Voracek's goal in the second stanza put the Czechs ahead for good at 3-2. Martin Erat opened the scoring as he scored for the first time this season with a goalie in the net. Veteran Jaromir Jagr also found the back of the net while Marek Zidlicky iced the game with an insurance goal of the game as he also assisted on Jagr's power play goal.
