Jake Allen was unbeatable Thursday night as he turned away all 28 shots he faced in a 3-0 shutout win over Phoenix. With the struggles experienced by Brian Elliott and Jaroslav Halak of late, coach Ken Hitchcock has decided to ride the hot hand and stick with Allen in goal, which is seemingly paying dividends. Armed with a strong supporting cast, there's a ton of upside available if the rookie can hang on to the starting job.
