Jagr earned an assist in Saturday's 4-1 win over the visiting Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
The 44-year-old veteran of 22 NHL seasons appears to be picking up where he left off on the heels of last year's impressive 66-point, plus-23 showing. Jagr didn't score in the Cats' season opener but did fire seven shots on goal in 19:33 of ice time, showing that he still finds way to provide fantasy value on a near-nightly basis even when he isn't scoring. As long as Father Time doesn't catch up to Double J this year, he and center Aleksander Barkov should be a formidable one-two punch again in 2016-17.
