Jacob Markstrom stopped all but one of the 45 shots he faced en route to a 3-1 win over the New York Rangers on Thursday. Markstrom has now won back to back games after a rough start to his season. It's impossible to truly judge on such a small sample, but his last few outings provide some hope that he really can be the goalie of the future for the Panthers.
