Jacob Markstrom outperformed teammate Tyler Plante on Tuesday night and may have earned the team's backup goaltending job as a result. Markstrom made 10 saves on 10 shots in 31:02 of ice time, while Plante surrendered four goals on 16 shots, with two of them coming in his first 1:34 of work. "I felt good out there," said Markstrom.
