Jacob Markstrom made 37 saves in Florida's 3-1 loss to Pittsburgh on Friday night. As the Panthers look for some help in net, they turned to their 23-year-old goalie of the future on Friday night for his first start of the season. Markstrom certainly has the makings to be a great NHL goaltender, but he has been thrust into a pretty poor situation with the Panthers, who are neither strong on defense nor clicking on offense right now.
