Jacob Markstrom lost for the fifth time and fourth in regulation (1-4-1) as the Florida Panthers were defeated by the Buffalo Sabres 3-1. The Panthers might believe that Markstrom is their goalie of the future, but it appears that Tim Thomas gives them the best chance to win now, at least in the rare moments when he's healthy. Markstrom has a disappointing .886 save percentage and 3.27 GAA in 8 GP.
