Jacob Markstrom has denied a recent report that he requested a trade after the Canucks signed Ryan Miller. Vancouver might try to trade Markstrom regardless because he's set to come with a $1.2 million cap hit in 2014-15 despite the fact that he's currently projected to be the team's third goaltender. If he does stay in Vancouver then he'll have a hard time getting starts against Miller and Eddie Lack.
