It looks like Stephen Weiss (sports hernia) won't return before the end of the season. "I don't really know where he's at," Wings GM Ken Holland said. "I know he's frustrated. He's not on the horizon to come back. I was just in there talking to Steve, talking to our trainers, everybody is a little bit frustrated because we obviously thought he would be back by now, actually a long time ago." Detroit is considering sending Weiss back to the doctor who performed his sports hernia surgery in December. Weiss' first season with Detroit couldn't have gone much worse as he scored just two goals and four points in 26 games.
