It appears that Steve Mason could be gone for the season after taking a shot in the head during practice on Wednesday. Mason was hit by a Colton Gillies shot. The Blue Jackets signed Shawn Hunwick to a short-term deal and it appears he will back up Allen York the remainder of the season.
