Islanders GM Garth Snow said he "doesn't anticipate" Visnovsky will be on the team next season, ESPN.com's Pierre LeBrun reports. Visnovsky will be 39 years old and has suffered from a litany of injuries the last few seasons, leaving the Islanders inclined to give one of their younger blueliners a shake on the bottom pairing. Though he's not believed to be asking for more than a one-year deal, Visnovsky's price point was likely still far higher than the Islanders were willing to pay. Given his age and health concerns, don't expect Visnovsky to generate an overwhelming amount of interest from other teams.
