He will play on a line with Darren Helm and Daniel Alfredsson, a pair of players who returned this week from injuries, as the Red Wings seek their third consecutive victory. Franzen had 17 points (seven goals, 10 assists) in his past 17 games and totalled nine goals and 13 assists (22 points) in 30 games this season.
