In a slight surprise, the Colorado Avalanche will go with Jean-Sebastien Giguere in net on Sunday. It seemed like the Avs would consider going with Semyon Varlamov since these are back-to-back games, but Joe Sacco instead decided to reward Giguere for his nice win against the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday. Giguere's been surprisingly effective in his first season in Colorado.
