If it wasn't sort of official before, it is now: Jean-Sebastien Giguere is the No. 1 goalie of the Colorado Avalanche. Giguere started Sunday night in Anaheim, a night after playing against the Kings. He simply has stolen the top job away from Semyon Varlamov with his play. It's a tricky situation with Varlamov going forward. He was supposed to be the man in goal for the Avs, who gave up a first and second round pick to get him.
