If it wasn't for an unbelievable insipirational play by Colorado defenseman Erik Johnson the Avalanche would be down one game to the Wild. With time winding down in Thursday's opening game of the playoffs between the Avs and the Wild and with Minnesota leading 4-3 and the Colorado net empty for an extra attacker, Johnson raced back and swatted the puck out of the crease and then crashed into the goalpost saving a sure empty-net goal. The play rallied his teammates, and specifically Paul Stastny, who scored the tying and then the winning goal in overtime.
