Hoffman recorded an even-strength goal and a power-play assist in Saturday's 7-2 trouncing of the Oilers.It took 51 games, but Hoffman finally notched his first power-play point of the season. While Hoffman's lack of proficiency in that regard has dimmed his appeal in leagues that award bonus points for power-play scoring, on the flip side, his extreme productivity at 5-on-5 play has allowed him to uphold a plus-17 rating for the season. That's no small accomplishment on a team with a .500 record.
