Hoffman (lower body) was present at practice Monday and took part in line rushes, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.

Hoffman has been sidelined since Oct. 22 with the lower-body issue, but his return could finally come Tuesday against the Canadiens. If the lines hold true from Monday's morning skate, he'll likely return to the top line alongside Kyle Turris and Mark Stone.
