Commesso was called up by the Blackhawks on Friday but will return to the minors following a brief stint in the NHL, which could signal that Arvid Soderblom (illness) is close to full health. Commesso hasn't yet made his NHL debut but could rejoin Chicago again at some point to provide additional depth.
