Head coach Michel Therrien is walking a line with Galchenyuk in the young forward's transition from wing to center, the Montreal Gazette reports. Therrien indicated Galchenyuk needs to work on his defensive zone play, but the coach doesn't want to rob him of his creativity and instincts, the things that make him a special player. Galchenyuk will center the top line, between Max Pacioretty and Brendan Gallagher, Friday night against the Kings and for a few more games at least while Lars Eller (upper body) remains sidelined.
