Hayes tallied an assist and went plus-2 in Saturday's win over the Sabres. A frequent healthy scratch for the Rangers early in the season, Hayes has justified his place in the lineup through his credible play as the third-line center. He's not likely to offer much to fantasy owners while he averages only 12:12 of ice time per night -- with just about none of those minutes coming on the power play -- but his 14 points and a plus-3 rating over 33 games are respectable contributions from the rookie forward.
