Hayes logged an assist and three shots on goal in Saturday's 4-1 victory over Carolina. A gorgeous pass to Chris Kreider for a goal midway through the third period. Good to see the rookie get back on the scorer's sheet after just a two-game drought. More importantly the third line center won over 60-percent of his face-offs in the win. The much talked about 22-year-old has six goals and 17 points in 44 games games this season.
