Having claimed Andreas Nodl off waivers from the Flyers earlier Tuesday, the Hurricanes assigned Brett Sutter to Charlotte of the AHL. Sutter has been up and down a couple of times so far this season, though his second stint in Raleigh was limited to one week. In eight games with the parent club, Sutter is 0-3-3 and minus-1 with an average ice time of only 7:03 per contest.
