Harkins signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Jets on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Harkins spent the 2016-17 campaign with the Prince George Cougars of the WHL where he racked up 21 goals and 51 helpers in 64 contests. Selected in the second round of the 2015 NHL Draft, the center will join AHL Manitoba on an amatuer tryout agreement for the remainder of the year.
