Hannan (face) is participating in Friday's optional skate with a cage over his face, David Pollak of the San Jose Mercury News reports. This bodes well for Hannan's odds of playing in Friday's game against the Coyotes, but it's probably still best to consider him questionable. He took a puck to the face during Wednesday's win over the Avalanche.
