DeSmith stopped 23 shots in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime win over the Flyers.
EDGE Analysis
It wasn't pretty, especially in the second period as DeSmith got beaten three times to give Philadelphia a 4-2 lead, but he stood tall in the third as Pittsburgh mounted a comeback and got rewarded when Kris Letang won it in OT. DeSmith hasn't taken a regulation loss since late November, going 5-0-1 in his last six starts, but his 3.11 GAA and .897 save percentage on the season keep him well behind Tristan Jarry on the Pens' depth chart.
